So, I wrote this last December and lost it or something, anyhow, it never got posted. So here it is.

The Beauty of the Seasons
by: Eric Fulmer

The beauty of Fall has passed away;
The last leaf of autumn fell today.
No longer at there leaves of colors bright
Hanging on every limb in sight.

The throes of December have settled in;
Evidence of Old Man Winter's win.
Now is the time of ice and cold
As the land is embraced in a tragic death hold.

But while the colors of the land are gone;
Lost to the whiteness of snow, Winter's son,
The beauty of the land has not been defaced,
But rather its splendor has been replaced.
