Beyond the Sea I Go

On, on, I travel far;
Far across this dreary land.
My path goes ever on before me.
Somewhere behind me lies my home,
Somewhere ahead lies the sea.
That infinite plane of murky water
Beyond which, I am sure, lie my dreams.
